Have you ever dreamed about the perfect vacation? What does it look like?
Perhaps you are cuddled in front of a fireplace, eating popcorn, and talking with your family about the awesome time you all had on the slopes that day.
Or maybe you are lying on the beach with just the right amount of shade, sipping a drink that is just the right temperature, watching as your younger children build sand castles and your older children try to catch some waves with their surf boards.
The perfect vacation could be a myriad of scenarios. It just depends on who you are and what you want to experience.
But the perfect time to take that vacation is a little easier to pinpoint.
In order to choose the prefect time to take your perfect vacation here are a few questions to ask yourself:
- Do we have a large enough travel budget to cover all the expenses of the trip as well as an emergency fund just in case?
- Are our children old enough to enjoy the activities that we would do on this trip?
- Do we have any special needs that would make any aspect of this trip difficult?
- Which season would be most enjoyable for this trip?
- Is this a trip we want to take with the whole family or just Mom and Dad?
- If the children will not be going on the trip can acceptable arrangements be made for them so that they can enjoy their "vacation" too?
- Do we have enough vacation time available to enjoy this trip?
The answers to these questions will help you to decide whether or not now is the perfect time for your perfect family vacation.
If you determine that it is not, then use the answers to start to plan ahead.
Soon you will be enjoying your perfect family vacation.
